I have one strat that is wired with a Seymour Duncan jb and texas specials that uses the outside coil in auto split mode with with the middle pickup. It isn't out of phase and it noise cancels perfectly. I racked my brain with this but left it as is because I feel the tone is much better for some reason. So knowing this, I bought another jb to wire in my other strat the same way with texas specials as well, but it used the inside coil like it is supposed to. I ended up selling the jb and replaced it with the original atomic humbucker which also auto splits with the inside coil. So my question is, is there a way to rewire this strat with the atomic to use the outside coil? With this pick up, green is wired to the switch, red is to the ground, and black and white go to the switch for the split.
