How could I wire up two 9v batteries to supply 18v to an Toneczar Openhaus? I checked, and I can fit two 9v batteries in the enclosure. Thanks for the help!

Just in series. + from one batt to - of the other.
The remaining poles are your + and - to the circuit.

As long as they are rated for 18v plus they will be fine. This is most often used with EMG pickups . Here is a diagram (not mine)

Watch out! Check the diagram carefully!
You'll need to reverse the battery snap at the end of your summed batteries, or you'll be sending reverse polarity to the original snap! Battery snaps are designed to be connected to a battery terminals, no another battery snap, so don't follow just colors, ok?

what's the problem with the diagram?
seems correct to me...

ahhh, maybe i get it now: you mean not to join the two red and the two black wires togheter, but connect black/red - black/red, as pictured in the diagram?
