Hey guys, I'm putting together a treble booster as seen here: http://diystrat.blogspot.co.uk/2011/05/ ... reble.html

I'd like to have the option of powering it by battery or an adapter, so I'm going to follow this diagram to wire it up: http://diystrat.blogspot.co.uk/2009/06/ ... fects.html

I've never actually done this before though, so just to make sure I get it right, would this socket be the right one to use? Its the sixth item down on this page: http://www.bitsbox.co.uk/connectors/power_con.html

Would this be suitable? Thanks very much for any help you can give me!

Yes, that socket will do you just fine. Ive built hundreds of builds using the very same one.

One more thing, should I get the 2.1mm or 2.5mm socket?

Thanks :D
