Having metal logo's/badges made, anyone have any experience?

Frequent question about boxes and accessories: painting, etching, clearcoating, lettering, glueing, and so on.

I'm thinking about having small metal self stick nameplates made for my pedals, black print on aluminum, about 3/4" by 2". I found some places on the web that will do it for $1.50-$2 each. Anyone have any recommendations/experiences getting this kind of thing done? I'dlove to have them made locally, thought about trying a trophy shop but figure they'll charge too much.

No, not yet, but I'm gonna follow this topic if it gets some juicy tidbits. I thought about using those folks that do enameld pins and the like. The set up fees were reasonable, minimum quantities weren't out of my general guesstimate, and the finished product looked damn good. I also got a bee in my bonnet to have some wicked anodizing and lazer etching done for some completely over the top high-end stuff.Check the colors and patterns these guys offer for Al or Ti___________http://www.anolaze.com/company.htm

If you're willing to spend some money, on this but perhaps in the future on something else that is worth the money take a look here:

And take a good look in the examples section.

Personally I was amazed by the possibilities these guys can give at a reasonable price.
Sorry. Plain out of planes.
