Frequent question about finishing your stompbox: painting, etching, clearcoating, lettering, etc...
Has anyone found a good source of art or designs for enclosure etching?
Of course I use google image, but I thought we might share with each other.

Check out Bluevertigo.com.ar they have a ton of useful links to graphic sites. I try to get vector graphics since they can be resized without becoming distorted.
You will need Adobe Illustrator to open them. Hope it helps.

The other thing that I've found invaluable in Illustrator is the "Live Trace" option. It will take any graphic and make it into a vector graphic. I go into Photoshop first to convert the image to grey scale and then go to "levels" to adjust everything to black and white (no greys), then open the image in Illustrator and do the live trace. Hope this helps.

I use the grey scale adjustment layer in Photoshop, and BELOW it I place a channel mixer adjustment layer to fine tune the grey scale layer.
