Spray paint procedure for BSIAB2 pedal

Frequent question about boxes and accessories: painting, etching, clearcoating, lettering, glueing, and so on.

I have finished building the BSIAB2 project sold by GGG and was wondering if anyone knows or can advise on the correct painting procedure for this box.

I got the following spray paints yesterday:

1 can of grey primer spray paint

1 can of black glossy spray paint

1 can of white glossy spray paint

1 roll of 1/2" masking tape

220 metal sanding paper

I would like to paint it as Van Halen's first guitar, just white with black stripes:

I am ready to paint today.

You have probably already painted it but in case you haven't.

First: Everything should be painted white
Second: Tape all over
Third: paint it black
Fourth: Remove tape

And I believe that guitar is the same as the white black and red one. I think he was just mad that guitar companies were copying him so he made changed it (and copyrighted the pattern too (maybe)) along with breaking the pickguard and throwing in the broken pickup/other electronic garbage (like one of his unused tone pots or somethin').

I could be wrong. I'm not really a Van Halen fan.
