I'm having so trouble figuring out how to wire up a Fuzz Face circuit I had gotten from Fuzz Central. The positive ground aspect is a bit confusing. How to hook the power jack along with a battery to the PNP transistor circuit with positive ground. I need a picture if anyone has one.

Thanks,

Andy :?

There's several options on that page for Positive ground wiring with diagrams.

That is what I tried but it didn't work.

Here is a link from Fuzz Central of the PNP off board wiring 3pdt switch.

http://fuzzcentral.ssguitar.com/faq/cir ... ingpnp.gif

It looks like the battery is grounded to the input jack and then -9v to the ckt and the power jack just has -9v to the 3pdt switch.

How would you with the power jack ?

Check here or at Tonepad's (there a FF project and a helpful offboard wiring file there)...

Yes - the Tonepad site has a great doc regarding off board wiring that I've used before but it doesn't explain how to use it with positive ground / fuzz face PNP variation / powerjack / battery - the only place that I can find that comes close is Fuzz Central / Faqs link. Is there a way to post a question on Fuzz Central?

That's why I'm asking for the PDF directly, since it's the only file I need that seem's to be down =\

Have you tried looking in the Vintage Stompbox Corner pre-1975 threads?, I think there are some wiring diagrams there, also try looking in the Workbench section too... :)

Well, yesterday was online again and almost all of the schematics, including the offboard diagram.

Sugest to download as many pdf's as you want/can...
