4 effects in 1 box

Putting two effects in one box almost looks too easy, but you will save a lot of time reading the frequent questions before starting such a project...

4 effects in 1 box

Postby benobo » 27 Jan 2012, 12:46

Hello All,

I am planning to build 4 effects in 1 box (OD>Comp>Delay>Disto) with one input and one output. I am concerned about the loss of signal when all 4 effects will be switch on.

Would anyone advice me to build as simple Jfet buffer between each effects? or to add a clean boost at the end of the chain?

Thanks

I would add Jack Orman's Super Buffer at the end of the chain. The internal connections would hardly cause too much signal loss when on bypass, and most effects have a quite low output impedance (which would prevent any further signal loss).
...collectors together and emitter to base? You're such a darling...

ton.
