Me again!......Oh I hope to contribute as much as Im learning here one day, but that won't happen for a while :roll: ....so im sorry if this is another noob question.
If im not mistaken, if you plug the battery the wrong way with germaniums, they blow up right?
So how could I add a diode in the box and not on an already populated pcb, to avoid this problem?

Connect a hefty diode across the power rails, band to +ve. That should limit reverse polarity accidents to around 0.7V
