Different Buffers

Postby tacobender » 22 Aug 2017, 09:51

Hello, sorry if im posting this in the wrong section, it's been a while since ive been on here. Anyway I was wondering if anyone has the layout for the screaminfx clarionix wah buffer? Or any recommend stand alone buffer. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Do not forget to add a shunt resistor at the output of the circuit as in the JFET circuit

The difference in sound is, but it is difficult to describe it, it is necessary to compare all the schemes at once
The operational amplifier produces a neutral sound
Jfet adds brilliance (a more balanced sound)
MOSfet adds brightness and midrange
But the difference is so small that it is noticeable only in direct comparison, in a blind test you do not distinguish them and even do not understand whether there is a buffer or not
