Ok, you got your soldering iron and nothing is going to hold you back, but you have no clue where to start or what to build. There were others before you with the same questions... read them first.

Hi guys im new here.
Firstly i just did blueclipper from tonepad with breadboard without on off switch.
My problem is that i cant get any effect. But it gives clean tone. I checked circuit maybe a houndres times. I couldn't find any problem. Is it beacuse switch ? :?: :?:

Make sure your power/ground rails are connected all the way down. Some breadboards have them disconnected in the middle of the board (in case you want to run multiple voltages in one circuit).

That problem has bitten me quite a few times. :slap:

There is a sticky thread in the other stompbox forum entitled "Debugging thread: what to do when it doesn't work."

The process has been proven to be deadly effective on new-built pedals that don't work.
