For all it's worth, that is just the back of a piece of proto-board. No offense.
In order for anyone to help you with anything, you need to supply us with the schematic and layout you're using plus pictures of both sides of your board.
Most of your soldering looks alright though That's all i can see from here.

That's a stripboard (aka vero) layout. Unlike the board material you used, stripboard has the holes connected vertically. Hence the stripes on the layout
The red and white squares on the layout indicate that the track needs to be cut in that place (a disconnection if you like )
The black stripes are jumpers, meaning you should run a piece of wire between the two endpoints of the black line.
Here's a couple of links for you, describing the differences between stripboard and perfboard:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stripboard
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perfboard
You should probably also get familiar with one of these:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breadboard
And now that you've gotten the difference between strip- and perfboard, you might also want to familiarize yourself with desoldering braid:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Desolderin ... ring_braid
That being said, the paisley drive is AFAIR yet another Tube Screamer clone (YATS), and should be a pretty straightforward "paint by numbers" build. Just be careful with component values and positions - you should be just fine
