Hi Guys
I'm not really into ICs, but lately I've been working with some modulation designs (phaser, flanger, tremolos), and I wonder if there are any really good opions for the following:

1) Amplifiers for the phaser shifting section

2) ocilation section

I'd be specially looking for quad opamps to handle both this sections, but if the best case for number 1 be different than best case for number 2 I'll be willing to use the different options in the same project. I hope I make it clear in english...

Some of you allways recomend the burr brown opa20something for dual IC use, I wonder if they have a quad for that! Anyone knowa?
Thanks!

Moved to the Workbench (design matters rather than parts sourcing) and bumped.

You could always try the TL074. I use them for lots of things, and they've done good service for me.

Really good ICs for phasing and oscillator sections?

Sure. CA3094.

Suffers only from being impossible to get, as production ceased years ago.

Next choice: LM13700 dual OTA+buffer. Next choice: CA3280.

Quad opamps are a PITA to lay out. Duals are much more flexible and straightforward in tight layouts.

I'll give them a shot.
I'm finding some trouble to design the board arround a quad op amp too, it seems 2 duals are easyer to layout, thanks for all the hints!

If you're into PCB layout, check out "PCB Layout for Musical Effects", available through Small Bear Electronics on line.

Lots of people tell me it's dead on for learning to do efficient layout.
