Super Noob question here!
I just need to add a simple volume boost to a true bypass pedal that I made. The pedal I have in the loop gives me a 3db-12db volume drop depending on the effect. Can I just use a simple Resistor-Op Amp-Potentiometer idea like the attached diagram, or should I build a mini booster circuit to put into the pedal like the Xotic EP Booster?
Tight on space in the pedal so smaller is better but if I go with the booster circuit I may just build a separate pedal to put in the loop with the effect so I can use it elsewhere if my set up changes later.
I want the most transparent volume possible. If the diagram, can you make recommendation for values and op amp?
