I recently built a "stomp box" (out of a mid boost/frequency expander circuit), but with a 12-pos varitone, and a passive fuzz circuit (2 BAT46 Shottkey diodes)...but was wondering if the "fuzz" section would sound better, if I added a couple of silicon diodes to the output of the preamp, via a dpdt switch (or would it sound worse)? I'm kinda new at this, so sorry for the nOOb questions in advance :| .

You'll likely have better luck if you post the schematic and photos of what you've done so far in the DIY stompbox part of the forum
... multiple LFO waveforms (saw up, saw down, triangle, square); a more flexible envelope with attack/release controls as well as inverted envelope. I am afraid it will have more knobs than the TGP annual convention - frequencycentral
