Hi!
Is there anyone that has this Mighty red pedal and who can take some gutshots. Im willing to give it a shot to trace this pedal. Hope there is anyone that have the possibillity to take those pics. It looks like a very interesting design in my eyes with a single extreme low noice op and then only trannies to follow.
Best regards // Magnus

The output drive current of 50 ma!!!! Really light up those LEDs and see what softer clipping they can really do!!!!!BJF wrote:Hi,sadrew wrote:AD797 in DynaRed too?
No.
Hm, you know there would be angles that might be fun to discuss on distortion......
I told AD797 was used for a reason......what is the best merit of AD797 just of the datasheet?
Have fun

And how fast you can run down a 9v battery <grin>

I picked up one of these pedals pretty beat up for only $60! I'm looking to trace it. As-is, sounds great, quiet and fantastic rock tone. I think as always some tweaks could make this pedal perfect. Look forward to the design and schematic and identifying improvement ideas. Look for information in the near future.

I'd love to build it, I liked their Stone Grey distortion. Is this perhaps Guv'nor/Crunch Box related?
Your front and back pics are pretty clear, and you'll probably only have to remove some of components to make out the trace underneath. Then we can draw an overlay with component values.

Thanks so much for sharing the gut shots, but indeed, traces on both sides. Some pedals get traced after the pictures have been online for years, please try and attach the essential ones, so they don't end up as dead links.rmroza wrote:ok I'll depopulate this fucker!!
I resized and attached some of the more crucial ones...
