Just finished my build last night, pedal is working and sounds great. No squealing with my build. The eq controls give some pretty interesting sounds, although the Cream circuit doesn't blow me away when it's engaged with the distortion side. Overall though, a fun build.
I want to build it all.

hope i can squish its pcb to smaller size without having problem with oscillation and rfis

If you manage to do this please post some pics of the guts :D

I had a hard time getting everything to fit in the 1590BB.

Hello,

One question; based from the comment in the Vero layout: "watch for cuts under R4, R15, R24". Does this mean that there shall be cuts in those places, or absolutely not? Maybe a dumb question, but I'm completely new to pedal building (learning by reading, then by doing)

Thank you for a nice layout :)

Forget it, I misiunderstood. I see now that R4, R15, R24 stands for the resistors, not the location on the board :p :slap:

I dig small tight builds... would love to see the flip side and maybe the layout if you want to share...
I'm etching a batch this weekend- this baby is FO SHO gonna get built.

not only those two traces man (thin! hence your use of pre-sensitized board), but the whole board itself with those thin traces. good job! :applause:

yep,, im not that worried about thin traces.. the traces are solid IMO.. presensitized method works like a charm.

thanks brother,
:thumbsup
actually surprised me how it came.. i just did a substitution i dont have 1uf metalized cap so i used 2 1uf electo connecting their negative sides.. it sounded great. the eq is really the best part. you can dial scooped to mid heavy marshall esque sound.

I just built this and it sounds almost as good as the youtube videos. (I only have single coils)
I didnt do the boost section as someone said they werent to jazzed about it, and from the youtubes, it doesnt seem to do too much. The Diablo boost sounds really good, maybe i'll try and adapt that.
I used 5532's as i didnt have any 4580's, sounds nice and brighter than the jrc4558's i tried first. Thanks again Hewie for the vero. :applause:

congrats pre, nice build, sure thats tight. I haven't done any pedals as of now (wala ako sa pinas) but im trying to make it in a couple of months (madali lang ba to??) Did you use the 4580? How about the response of each frequencies?

tonestack is the best part.. ( maganda talaga).. i used tl072.. increased the filter cap to 220u. not noisy at all.

easy build.. making the art a little bit challenging.
