Sound pretty bad-ass, and the build quality looks really solid.
Snagged this photo off TGP.

It's a stripped down version of this: https://www.freestompboxes.org/viewtopic ... t=kingsley
IMO it's a lot of pedal for the price.
Great build quality and sounds.

Here's my gut shot:
And a preliminary schematic minus switching, pots and power supply is attached.
schematic removed - new schematic is below

I believe this is the whole thing, though the power supply looks a bit odd to me. The resistor labeled ??? is a metal oxide with grey-brown-gold-gold.

I don't know if I'm just misunderstanding your drawing but the switching seems suspect.

That's just a drawing of how things are hooked up to the switch. It's got 3 positions. In position 1, the two left lugs are connected, position 2 the two middle lugs are connected and position 3 the two left lugs are connected. I'll get bigger pics tomorrow if you want to look them over.

Are you sure that the 82K does not go to the middle two lugs (connected) on "top"?

Actually, scratch that. The leftmost bottom lug is connected to the lug second from right in that row rather than directly to ground.

Nevermind. That wouldn't make a difference. I just opened it up and it's connected as you described. New file attached.

Yeah, makes more sense now. Good work and thanks!

That seems about right. It just needs to drop the voltage down to around 6.3V for the heaters. With 600ma of heater current for 2 12AX7s it should be around 8-10 ohms I think. Thanks!

The resistor looks like 8.1 ohms.mmolteratx wrote:I believe this is the whole thing, though the power supply looks a bit odd to me. The resistor labeled ??? is a metal oxide with grey-brown-gold-gold.
"Why is it humming?" "Because it doesn't know the words!"

Hi guys, i've developed a layout with tubes and trafo onboard for this pedal, but i still have some uncertainties:
the trasformer is 2x115 in series and 2x7 in parallel? Is this made to have a greater anodic voltage?
The switch is a 2P3T?
However here is my layout for EAGLE cad

Hi there, i revised the pcb, which is now 10.3 x 10 cm single sided, and i decided to use the pcb version of the original transformer (talema 70100).
Aparts from pots, jacks and switches, everything else is on board. Corrections or suggestions are welcome.

Wow! That's awesome.
good job on the artwork!
I have a couple of concerns on the layout, however. With the toroidal transformer being placed where it is on the PCB layout, wouldn't you have noise issues with transformer flux interfering with the preamp tubes? Also, I'm wondering about the heater supply. Any thoughts about noise from the turret/point to point/handwiring crowd?

I decided to make this layout because i've almost filled my pedalboard, and i can't assure it would not be noisy. Toroidal transformer flux is for the most part confined inside, but in case it hums nothing says it can't be separed from pcb . Imho building on pcb is the better solution for noise, but it surely doesn't have that unobtainium mojo thing
Your concern about the heater supply is regarding noise or something else?

Hmm. There might be issues with the heater wiring. You might have to rectify and regulate them or modify the routing. I just mod amps though so I'm not sure.
