Of course I meant the Contour pot could be 25k, not the tone pot.

I'm really just guessing.

Look for the Duncan tonestack calculator here:http://www.duncanamps.com/tsc/
I dont use any other software...

Thank you
it has long been on my PC
But there is one big disadvantage - nilzya set their scheme or edit the current can only change component values, this is unfortunately not enough.

Hey
Tomorrow lay out the Verified Schematic
If anyone will be interested.
I took it off last year
When he did not know how to design the scheme himself and wanted to make a clone
While catching a crude option, tomorrow will be 100% ready
CHARLIE BROWN.JPG
I just did not like the presence potentiometer, although with this scheme of tone, he does not like me in any scheme

Is it just a guess or did you have access to the pedal?
In my previous posts I was just guessing, as I've never had access to the pedal. So the schematics you posted might not be exact.

I've been wondering about the presence pot cause I really dont see how it could make much of a difference soundwise. Even a 100k pot.

Also I feel pretty sure looking at my notes and the gutshot again that C10 on your schematics should be 10n, not 100n.

Hi, sorry, I completely forgot.
Tomorrow I'll get to the workshop and make a diagram.
About her, I collected the device and he works properly.
Potentiometer presence - similar schemes exist for example in the EQD Hoof
Image
Pedals I have and never nebylo, I relied on tips in this thread =)
I agree, it looks like a weak proof for the truth, but we have the following
1) AMZ Mosfet Boost
2) AMZ Presence Control (by the way, I saw that the 82K resistor goes to the ground, so it changes with the potentiometer presence) in places
3) Zvex Bor / Distortron
If they are folded, then all the components converge.
The circuit was very rough, I first drew the circuit and it was only the 3 pedals I collected at that time (after Fuzz Face and Big Muff), a month or two before I did not know what resistors are transistors and other components (I'm trying to Explain the rudeness of their work). This can be seen from my posts (I did not know how to read the resistor values across strips).
Tomorrow I will try to do it.

As I have promised
I was in a hurry, so 2 amendments
1) remove C5
2) С7 22n present value
Also in the circuit did not begin to install a fuse, which is on the pedal board.
Perhaps tomorrow I will collect again to check the potentiometer presence
Your Welcome 8)

POTL, do you have the pedal?
Pretty sure you can keep c5 in. There's a ceramic cap on the CB pcb that corresponds to it.
Yes c7 should be 22n.

But again we dont know the presence pot value, or exactly how it's incorporated. As it is on your schematics it doesnt make any sonic difference... (the Hoof pot IS useful cause the resistor next to it is a much smaller value)

So to anyone reading the topic: THE POSTED SCHEMATIC IS JUST A GUESS, BASED ON GUT SHOTS :)

As I said earlier, I do not have this pedal.
It remains to wait that someone can provide a photo of the filling.
As for the presence potentiometer, something tells me that it can be connected to a resistor 23 (on my circuit) to change the value from 10K to 35K (accordingly affecting the presence, besides, only in these two positions it will work, put more It's nowhere to go).
I can only say that I collected it and it sounded the same (in my opinion), but I did not like the work of the presence (however, as on the angry charlie)

At least all the face values of the parts coincide, their number is equal to the number of parts on the board, (however, it is worth checking the values of electrolytes).
More than anything I can not help.

Hi !

I built one according Effects Layout and the Presense control apparently was not working.
According BOBA7 "So to anyone reading the topic: THE POSTED SCHEMATIC IS JUST A GUESS, BASED ON GUT SHOTS"
No problem... just a new challenge ...
So now, after 3 years... someone have new shots or more information to share? I am interested to finish this build.
TY

Dear all,

I think i solved the Presence control issue... it's not a AMZ presence/body/contour control.
The presence control needs to push a high end... like presence control works in a Marshall amps.
So... look below:
CB_1.jpg
CB_1.jpg (121.3 KiB) Viewed 1200 times
100k is in parallel with Presence Pot (2 ~ 3 are conected).
I used a 100kb pot for presence control, and i get good results, just like JHS works.
Follow below the reviewed schematic with correct values and correct Presence Control.
I kept the 1M ( for pulldown) and 47pf (to prevent rf), but it is optional.

Cheers

That is great, I never thought about that!
Thanks for your work!
