Here you have already everything prepared:

Image

schematic: http://www.hobby-hour.com/electronics/s ... l-zone.php

Just remove/bypass the distortion part.

Here you get everything needed too, for EUR 24,90 new:

http://www.thomann.de/de/harley_benton_ ... 20df97bda9

So we have:
$ 190,-- + $ 160,-- = $ 350,--
- EUR 24,90 ~ $ 30,--
--------------------
$ 320,-- ..... you can save by modding one of those.

I'm better at taking pictures than I am drawing schematics; so I'll still need some help on this, guys.

Of what i can see we need a list of ALL the caps values. All that is needed iam not sure where your at in electronics. So forgive me if you know this allready. don't need to try and read the value with a meter or anything. Just the number written on each cap will be fine. Most here can decipher that. That way we can take that and put it against the traces and come up with a schematic. Thanks in advance. The resistor we should via the pics be able to get via the colour code although photos can be fun with that. is that red pink or blue??? Then hopefully all should be good.

Did I miss any capacitors? I thought I wrote them all down (in a few places) on page three?

I think it's not green. That band looks more like black. Also from the looks on the photos chicago_mike posted on the fist page it looks like black. So, it makes that resistor 10k.

You're absolutely correct. I have NO idea why I wrote green. It's obviously black. Thanks for catching that.

As far as i can see they are just blue monolithic capacitors they come in blue and yellow. The electronics store i purchase from in adelaide sometimes has some blue ones and sometimes yellow never found any difference between them. Great for fitting and a small board where space is tight. If you type monolithic capacitors into evilbay they come up by the millions or so to speak.

if you type into evilbay monolithic blue you'll get the exact one's. iam pretty sure the ceramic ones are higher value although they could be all ceramic i only knew them as monolithic. Might have to investigate to find out exactly.
