I borrowed this from a friend. My only camera is my iphone so they're not the best but hopefully I can get some better shots with another friend's camera...

Thanks for the pictures. Cannot be traced from that though.

The PCB design is really looking amateurish and the traces are so thin... I would be ashamed if I was the designer.

I'd be more ashamed by the poor soldering job . Look at the footswitch pins which scream for solder !

these guys are really a joke ! :applause:

the other 14 pin is a 2206P

I don't know how to use Eagle. Thought others might like to see this :horsey:

Ahh, gotcha. Sorry for :)

So. I did my first LARGE trace on this - I've done smaller fuzzes before. So forgive my total noobisness. Attached is a hand drawing schematic -brace yourselves. Also a small doc with pot values and the ICs...

Same for the pads for the switches and pots. The drill diameter is so large the solder is needed as a bridge to fill the gap between board and component. Solder is a rather poor choice for that function.

And as well, thanks for the photo's!
Sorry. Plain out of planes.

Modulation with 2206P could be interesting... keep on tracing please

I see that. Here is a link to another schematic upload, this one was scammed at a higher dpi so I don't think I can attach it here (its 26MB).

I'm using Fritzing for the schematic - first attempt, so its not the best. Better than the drawing and I think I fixed any past errors.

Be careful!!! If you sneeze you might cause one of those hair line traces to break and open up internally... :o

updated the schematic again. I built this on my breadboard and then on perf and it works... The orange trace is just meant to show that the other trace it crosses is in fact a cross and not a connection: I'm using Fritzing and I don't know how to indicate connection passes/crosses. Noob.

Interesting. So they used the XR2206 function generator IC as the LFO. That's very clever...back when Catalinbread did it in a tremolo. :secret:

The Biyang AD-10 delay has the same features for $50, and up to 1 second of not too noisy echoes.

I think I built this for less than $50 (Thanks Tayda - though I needed to get the 2206 from Small Bear), and it sounds pretty sweet. That Biyang doesn't have the modulation, and the fuzz is actually pretty cool/useful feature. I agree I wouldn't pick up a ED2 but for a DIY build: its pretty nice. It is noisy though when you get around/pass the 600ms point.
