I cant confirm the caps as they are unlabeled and smt. Same with the LEDs. Resistors are confirmed as they are labeled.

I built the tagboard layout yesterday, but am having issues:
1. Low Volume. I can Max the Volume & Gain, and it's at the volume level I play in my Apt.
2. TIGHT Pot. CCW and my volume/bass increase. CW my volume decreases and treble increases.
3. The TRIM pot, when set half way or higher just sounds so bad... It's such a bad distortion sound haha Setting this all the way down seems to sound good, but I lose a lot of distortion.
I used:
Bat41 Diodes
3mm Red Leds (Diffused)
C1: 470pf
C2: 1uf film
I've taken my board under a light to spot any bridges and everything looks good. Went over my component placement, links, and cuts several times with long breaks in between. Going to go over them again today with a fresh pair of eyes haha

Hey guys, thanks from me for all your work. A little later to the game. Got this pedal when it first came out. I think there is some good tone out of it, but it's a 1-trick pony. I have no idea why this is even called an OD. It's a distortion pedal ONLY...which would be fine if you can adjust the amount of distortion, but really you can't and it's limited. Likewise, as psychodave indicated, I likewise would want a mid in the tonestack.
I do think this gets in the BE-100 arena of tone to a clean amp, but that's it. They probably retarded it, else people would not need the amp. I'm a little pissed from that standpoint, but because the general tone is there, here is what I would like and willing to do...
I have one of these pedals. I plan to depopulate the entire boards and trace it and build clone PCB(s) to ensure the design is 100% and a baseline and will post it here. I would then like to generate a schematic based on this actual baseline design and identify the areas of improvement, then re-design it as Rev.2 and build the fucker up the way it should be! Are you game? I hope so. I'll take the time to blueprint the baseline design and clone PCB(s) and will be looking for your time and support for the schematic and improvement ideas (as I'm busy as fuck, this will help distribute the workload).
Look for my portion in the near future and possibly this weekend (thou I have a couple events to do). In the end, I want a fully-functional BE-DIST pedal and put on my pedalboard.

What's up guys, I just bought one of these to try and pitch in with this. I tried it out for about 5 min before disassembly and it sounds killer!I I didn't include the known component values but I'll check them against the posted schematic to make sure they are correct. I hope this helps....
All SMD caps were removed in order to be measured. Here are my findings so far:
The 4 LEDs are all red.
I'm just finding out that my Fluke meter cannot measure caps in the PF range:
C2: 0
C9: 0
C13: 0
C22: 110NF
C23: 110NF
C24: 110NF
C25: 110NF
C20: 47Uf 25V Electro
C21: 22Uf 50V Electro
C26: 22Uf 16V Electro
The only via I can find that goes to GND is in the top left corner near R30. It's still apart on my bench so let me know what else we need to get this done!

Good work Pakrat
I updated my scheme to include your values.
Can you get the values on C6,C7,C12,C19?
What are 33k resistors I have labeled as R190 and R200?
Checking the values of C16 and C17 would also be useful.
I created some confusion by doing a lot of guess work in attempt to make a working schematic. So, I have broken those connections. Can you check these and draw them in? If you could, verify everything. haha Thanks m8! you got this!

DAFUQ!
Damned if it ain't my old friend Pak Mutha Fukin Rat!? It's 2017 beotch, Sup wit dat?!? You get abducted by aliens for 4 years or did they flash your eprom so you wouldn't remember? Anyway good to see you're alive mang!
The caps sound about right.. D5 doesn't look critical to the sound/operation, just a reverse pol protection diode.. Well, I guess it could be critical if you reverse the polarity..
I think the BAV99 may play a big part in the sound and feel of the pedal along with the LED clipping.. wonder what it sounds like with them bypassed?
Glad to see ya back man!

C12 - 120p
C16 - 22n
C17 - 220n
destro already verified R19 and R20 are 33k

I'd like C16 and C17 triple checked as it makes for quite a low boost for the bass control when R19 and r20 are 33k.
cheers!

What's up J0K3RX, it's good to see you still "degooping" all that is high gain! I have been silent for a while but haven't stopped building, Now if I could only get to boxing them all......
I had built the tagboardeffects version (thank you Alex!) with BAT85 as some people suggested and it sounded like a fuzz. After researching subs for BAV99 I tried IN4148 and it greatly improved but still needs work.
@bmxguitarsbmx Thanks for your work on this also! give me a few min to put together a complete list of the component values, stay tuned......

Here are the component values as numbered on the PCB. For some reason some of the component numbers are skipped? If there is no value for a number, it means that component number isn't on the PCB.

Thanks Pakrat for checking the values.
I think there are 2 slightly different schematics here: one from Bmxguitarsbmx and one from Destro.
I've used the second one for the vero layout but I'm not sure which one of the two was the right one.

C25 is 100n? Looks smaller than c22,23,24. Not so important, is part of the power supply. but...
