I'm sorry it did not catch the equalizer
my computer is working in the garage (lol) at a distance of almost a kilometer from my house.
and the street is now minus 22 degrees Celsius, do not want to go out in such cold =)

You did a great job :thumbsup , it is necessary to choose the denomination capacitors =)

you can share a link to the online or offline schemes emulator freeware software
I want experiment with frequency responce :D

No, I did not get a chance to get a smd tester to measure the capacitors.
The pedal is no longer in my hands, I did everything possible :(

in fact, it's not scary, because a three-band equalizer in JHS is not really good, it's easier to pick your own)

The mid pot was very very good, the bass pot too but not the big thing. The high control was very bad but still work well (It was very extreme, perhaps a very personal impression)

All the luxury of this pedal versus the V2 is the control of mids

Some capacitor values may apply in comparison with the Three Band Activ Tone Control of the EQD-Talons.

How calculate frequency response for bass mid and treble?
Treble part looks not full

thank you so much
I have seen many circuits, but could not find annotations to them, in the morning'll transfer =)

Hello everyone!

I tried the last scheme on the breadboard, I'll leave my experience here.

Well treble and mid ran. The mid was what worked the best. The treble acted more like a presence I do not know well. He himself with the maximum potentiometer was not sharpened in several configurations that I tried. The bass did not hear any difference.

I changed some cap to the bass and still do not know what's wrong.

:slap: Those two suckers must be added @ input:
R1: 1M to ground
C1: 22n in series with the 1k resistor R2 (same value as the MI audio Crunch Box, I guess... but you can try something else)

you mean the pulldown R1?

The previous phase of crunchbox is ok, the problem is even in 3EQ, maybe I dont get it this, will try something.

but if you can see something more, please tell me.

Greetings,

If someone has the capaitor values of the wampler plextortion or the full schematic, I'm pretty sure that's what v3 is.

Best regards,

Victor Nery

Thanks for the pdf, Manfred - very interesting reading.

I came across this 3 band EQ the other day and was planning on experimenting with it on the breadboard. Very similar topology.

V3 this is the latest version at the moment.
Maybe you mean Charlie Brown.

C10 should be at the junction of R8/R9, not at the opamp output.

Help is needed. Which contacts need to be connected Out and In
ActiveToneControl, if I throw 10K and 22n and insert between them, will it work? Sorry if said stupidity)
The original EQ 3 version does not inspire confidence. I have the finished version 2, but the tone setting there is not very like.
Thank you.

I won't argue that it should be, but I'm fairly certain that it wasn't.
