is the boost section jfet or mosfet?
Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.

Pretty cool - seems well-built. It obviously was designed to be opened up given the various internal switches. Just three TL072 op amps? Hmmm.

Ok here are some raw images that I took with my phone. I need to clean the flux off this thing.. There is a thick candy coating all over the boards and even up on the transistors which I cleaned with a Q-tip and denatured alcohol.. I will probably end up removing the jacks from the main board. Need to pay attention on that because the jacks are different and that is why I screwed the nuts back in after I removed the board. They have different threads and different lengths. I may end up removing all of the pots from the daughter board but maybe not.. will see.

I will be getting more pics but these should give anybody a good over all look at the pedal.

Couple more with the jacks and the boost pots removed.. I will probably remove all of the pots from the little board and I think I will remove all of the TL072's.

It's coming along, slowly.. I may have something this weekend but don't hold your breath. :? My life is one distraction after another and by the time I am able get one moment to myself I am ready to go to sleep... I thought the tight metal was a twisted spaghetti bowl of traces but this thing makes that seem simple. It's not really that bad but the traces are all over the place and change sides constantly and it just never seems to end.... If not for my LED flash light being used as a PCB x-ray I would be Ska-Rewd!

I can assure you that this will be completed even if I have to box it up and send it to somebody else to finish! I have a son that has severe autism and he has been going through a rough time so, I haven't had time to even begin to get my head back into this twisted ass pedal... My son is 110% priority over everything else on the face of this earth, hope you can understand..

you want a higher res shot ok but, I can tell you that you won't be able to make any sense of it where I left off but, here ya go anyway..

Here are the really large images

No lights
No boost
No loops
No worries
Just a Hammond 1590BB friendly board packed with components - all switches sockets and pots off board connected by flying leads.
added a 12 v regulator to protect the added charge pump from over voltage. will easily run off 9v dc (or up to 18v dc).
Pictures when built and tested - probably about 3 weeks away so don't hold your breath
cheers
