The first part of the circuit is derived form the Lovepedal Champ circuit.
The second part could be derived from the Zvex Super Hard On buffer circuit.

I ran a simulation of the first stage with 2.5 Kiloohms, 5 Kiloohms and 10 Kiloohms potentiometer without clipping diodes.
The simulatons gave following results:
The gain change is linear over the ajustment range.

gain ranges:
2.5 Kiloohms potentiometer: 4.25 to 7.1
5 Kiloohms potentiometer: 4.25 to 4.75
10 Kiloohms potentiometer: 4.25 to 14.25

The start point of clipping is a bit different for all potentimeter.
The clippings starts from 250 Millivolts to 320 Millivolts but the diode clipping starts much earlier.

 Please formulate your questions.

I ran the simualtion with the first stage circuit of the Lollygagger.

Apologies, i was posting from my phone and the screen is cracked so typing was difficult - I'm on the pc now.
I was expressing surprise at the result for 5k. I assumed the gain went up as the added series resistance at the collector from the pot increased: This seems to be true from the 2k5 and 10k pots' ranges, but the maximum gain for 5k appeared to be an anomaly.

 Sorry, now I understand, I am getting old.
gain ranges:
2.5 Kiloohms potentiometer: 4.25 to 7.1
5 Kiloohms potentiometer: 4.25 to 10.65 <-------
10 Kiloohms potentiometer: 4.25 to 14.25

Guessed circuit:

I don't think C4 exists.

C3, 5 and 6 look quite fat and C5 appears to be 330n in one picture.

I'm not very good at ID'ing diodes, but they seem smaller than the usual 1N4148

In this derived Electra Distortion circuit the Potentiometer value is 50 Kiloohms

Nice to hear from you! :thumbsup

Please give us the the solution to the puzzle.

What truth is there to this?

On this image the last number of the value imprint looks like a "3", the first numbe could be a "2",
in that case C3 got a value of 10nF or 22nF.

The first 5 or 6 were all over the place .... I wasn’t sure exactly where I wanted it to sit in the mix AND the first three are entire circuit altogether. The PRE section was a “piggy back” tranny set up with the same FET POST circuit. After the 10th one they were all standardized up to this day (with the exception of the brite mod ones)
