MFOB
This unit is known by two names:
Modified Frequency Overdrive Box, and
Monkeys Fly Out Butt.
The MFOB is a two-stage overdrive unit
that produces a tube-like square wave
when cranked. Controls are Volume, Gain, and
Universal Gain. Used by THE BLACK CROWES
and Page Hamilton of HELMET.
No longer being built and primarily for the Japanese market. Tonegod mentioned this in the restrictions, which is strange because is not mentioned anywhere on the forum or even on thegearpage.

All this sounds very promising. Why did it go out of production?

Why did it go out of production?
scroll down here:
http://www.realmccoycustom.com/EFFECTSbyTEESE.htm
and you will get the answer:
Purchase of any RMC product does not include transfer of Intellectual Property Rights. All Intellectual Property Rights are the sole property of Geoffrey R. Teese unless otherwise noted or licensed.
Maybe Micr*s*ft-addicts will "buy" only a "non-profit-user-license" and not a real product.
And if you make a No.-1-Hit with this unit you have to pay percentages to Mr. Geoffrey Teese cause of his "IP-Rights"..... :?

There´s a sucker born every minute - and too many of them end up in the bootweak pedal biz.

No one I know has ever owned one of these pedals, nor have I heard anyone online speak of them (besides his wahs).

I played one a long time ago. I don't remember being blown away by it.
