I saw Jaw Breaker & Gain Helper (very nice booster) for $50 each on eBay last week. BTW, check guts of Boot-Leg Rock-N-Roll Party 2.0. Very nice british style ovedrive/distortion. I like it more than Menatone KOB.

I split this into a new topic since it has nice gut shots of a different pedal by the same manufacturer.

Also, I've uploaded the photos here in case they go missing from the original web host.

Thanks picassochild!!

that's a good looking pedal- with a really cool name! japanese to english mistranslations and attempts at sounding "western" add up to some great fun some times. machine gun elephant, anyone?

also, i read on another forum that those foil caps he's using are becoming all the rage among japanese hifi guys. maybe that's why we see them here as well.

That's an interesting way to make solder-lug pots into PCB mount pots. :)

I have a few of these. I got them in the "mylar cap assortment" at Electronics Goldmine:

Thanks Culturejam. I don't know how to edit pics here. Actually, I think to send this pedal and Boot-Leg Jazz Fuzz to Martin Soulsonic for part upgrade and I think he can trace it. BTW, here's info about Jazz Fuzz.

Thanks for the photos Picassochild! It looks like a very similar circuit to the Jaw Breaker. It may even be nearly identical, except with some different components values (and different diodes, obviously  ).

Possibly a TL074. The Bootleg Jawbreaker has a quad and it is a TL074.

Here's a perf and PCB layout for this. A little tidier than the one posted above.
