Hello New guy here, long time follower. Was wondering which IC was used in verified version. Bill of materials mentions 4049 but that chip is 16 pin and the pcb has 14 pins. I would assume 4069 is the correct IC being that it has 14. Also are they buffered or unbuffered (cd4069ub or cd4069B). Thanks and keep up the good work.

There are results?Valoosj wrote:I finished making my own smaller layout. It should fit in a Zvex style enclosure. Will post the files here when it's verified.

any updates on the smaller layout?
I have one, though it has some space issues. I tried to make it too small and 3 electrolytes don't have enough room to stay tidy. If you can handle or just live with this, go ahead! This layout is verified to work as it's supposed to, but not tested against an original one.

Could this one running at 18 volts?

I built reztfrazitz few months ago, I found out it had such a good sound dynamics, yet I could not get the best tone. a bit too much bright, maybe brit character?
Mine is noisy when set in maximum gain, so I always set on medium gain.
However I never tried the real effect.

nice tnx guys..
Hi Guys,
I am newbie and i am trying to build my own Reeza.
I am not sure if i am posting in the right sub-forum.
I have a few questions regarding the parts used in this project and i hope to get some advice from you guys.
I would be shopping for the parts at my local Hardware store this weekend and i would like to know the following.
Would there be a difference if i were to use a 0.5W resistor compared to a 0.25W resistor?
Which type of resistor should i get? does the breakdown voltage affects the quality of the tone?
Please bear with me if my questions sound silly...

0.5W resistor is fine.. except it will generally be larger.
It won't affect the tone.

Some say there's a difference, but it'll be minor if there is.
