Considering this is the first time I look at this thread above remark says something:
- If there's errors in the previously posted schem a simple fool will get em out with the PT's datasheet.
- but no need for that since someone already built it
- and anyone, really anyone, who needs a 3 layer PCB for THAT should go back to primary school. Djeez. Anyone handy wit MS paint can do better.

Did anyone stumbled upon these fellows?

but i compared it to the robote delay. it was connected to the ground.

Seeing as this delay is advertised as being usable before or after distortion, which part of the circuit exactly does this? Is it the changes on the input buffer or the repeat pot / level pots changes?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the way the repeat pot is wired in the supposed schematic mean that the less repeats you dial in the lower the repeat level becomes? I mean, the 2K connected to the 47nF gradually gets connected to ground. I simmed it and the repeat level changes about 5dB by just changing the repeats pot. Was this intentionally and can anyone with a DBD confirm this?

Is the schematic verified? If yes, i can make a layout for it, or at least try, lol.

it would be nice to have a verified layout.
i built one, but i didn't finished yet. (too many projects around and not so much time)

how does it sound?

I put it on the breadboard a couple of months ago. Sounds really good. Honestly, there is nothing really to verify from the schematic...it's just a few mods and omissions from the rebote.

would you say better than the rebote v2.5 ?

finished mine. very cool. very cool. definitely better than stock rebote.

we need a new layout however, something small enough to fit in a 1590b.

did you use this schem?

if so, I've just done an UNVERIFIED 1590A layout of it.

be great if someone can run another eye over it.. I can't see the forest for the trees cos I've been staring at this thing for days now :whappen:

(this layout was removed as it was updated, two posts below)

Looks good rocklander, I traced your layout out to compare with the schematic. Only difference was the 2n2 capacitor to the lower left of the 'repeat' pads on your layout, this is marked as 22n on the schematic. Entirely possible this may be intentional though.

**updated on 20120313**
*** the input cap was adjusted to 22nF ***

thanks heaps! :D I've updated it.. .. also, track clearance was way too little on such a small board... so I opened that up a bit too..

I should mention that you should use the schem to compare. there are no connections on this board for the pots to have pin1 to earth. I just run a lead to each of the pin1's to earth directly in order to save space on the board.

So this is verified? I'd love to slap this together. I'm going to order some parts soon and would love to include this in my order.

I've etched and drilled my board. will hopefully populate it today and if so, will report back.
