that things sounds killer on guitar and bass. you can get a glimpse of the circuit on the breadboard in the proto video. looks like it has about 6 or 7 transistors.
i really like how catalinbread is putting out all of these different videos of their pedals- it really shows what they can do. and it's much better than just one video from the pro guitar shop mafia!

Sounds like there is a bit of crossover distortion in there.. the description, distorted yet clean sound seems to confirm this too..
I really like the sound of this pedal.

It's here. I'm still trying to get a feel for it. I'm more of a fuzz guy and I don't have a lot of experience with ODs. It's using a Baxandall tone stack, I know that much. I took the lid off and everything is mounted to the PCB so it will be a good bit of work to take a look at the components.

Yeah, the build probably has PCB mounted jacks and pots. Those who traced the DLS look to have unsoldered the jacks and pots (viewtopic.php?f=7&t=4668&hilit=brake+cleaner&start=60) to get pictures, which is probably the best way to get the pcb out.

Are you ready to/comfortable with opening the insides up a bit more?

Sorry, I had a busy weekend. Yes, I'm comfortable getting the guts out. I just need to block off some time to do so and document it properly.

very interested in this.
I'm not surprised if its a baxandall eq. I was told over at the catalinbread forum that the now-discontinued silverkiss used a 3-band version of the bax'.

Very cool sounding pedal. Really adds a lot of the girth I look for in bass tones.
