It's possible to use 2N7000 or BS170 for MOSFETs? I have no chance to find the originals here :(

Thank you very much Ang3lus!
In the post above I saw that Supertex makes LNDs and I found that they have a distribuitor here, in Romania, so I hope I will buy a couple soon :)

I am trying to build this on vero, my first project. I can understand the onboard stuff in the diagram, but i have no knowledge about the off board wiring. Ive tried looking in the beginner's wiring and switching section but i am still not able to understand many things.

This is the diagram i am following: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-KPMupbXJjHc/T ... enhaus.gif

and this is how much i am able to understand http://dl.dropbox.com/u/72569269/asd.jpg

I cant do the rest of the connections to input/output jacks, 3pdt, LED, dc jack.

Can anyone complete the connections, or link me to an example which can help. If someone can draw up the rest of the thing will be great help. Thanks.

the "?" means that the value is not fully confirmed, usually "guessed", and all the offboard wiring can be seen here:

hope that helps.

if you need any more help, PM me

Hi guys I have some question about some parts on this project. I'm about to build it and as a newbie to electronics I'm having some problems.
Is the LND150N3 the same as LND150N3-G ?
Is UA78L15 the same as LM78L15 ?
Can I use any replacements parts instead of OPA2604AP and 2N1306 ?

Thanks in advance, any answer will be helpful to me.

the UA is SMD, while the LM is through-hole, which is what you need.

regarding the transistors, the germaniums you can replace the 2n1306 with 2N388
the opa2604 you can't replace i think.

Nay...the only reason I ask is because some parts is expensive, the opa2604 is cheaper.
Thanks for your answer!

the LND ?

dunno

but you must get the G version, try digikey.

it's a depletion mosfet, there are maybe other types, which i have no idea what they do, or maybe other voltage ratings ?

try reading the datasheets.

get the G though, don't sub parts on this build, could get noisy/weird sounding.

Kinsky I already know tha is available at mouser but is too expensive in shipping they charge me 30$ for 1$.
If you know any other store please let me know.

Another question I have is that today I asked in a local store for the LM78L15 and gave me MC78L15. Is it the same? ? ?

Looking at the datasheets I figured out that the "-G" in LND150N3-G is the symbol for TO92 version.
Anyway can anyone tell me if I can use any other resistor instead of the 604ohm one? ? ? ? ? ? ?

I have just started an attempt at an Openhaus clone and have a couple of questions. One of the resistors is specified at 604R, is this value particularly important or will 620R suffice? I looked on ebay and could only find 1 person selling 604R resistors and they are ridiculously expensive (£5.85 for 5). Also I was wondering about using some OC141's instead of the 2N1306's because that's all I have at the moment. I don't currently have a way to measure HFE and I'm new to all this so please forgive my newbie questions. Thanks for any help offered.

Search for cheaper seller. In a local shop here in Greece I bought them 0,22 euros per piece.
Maybe contact these sellers for better price or search local elecronic shops.
