Viruses make me angry too! In 4 years I had two major ones on my laptop, luckily I was able to remove both. Then last week my laptop backlight went so I was in the market for a new one (i was using an external monitor for a week or so but I needed a new PC anyways), only problem is I had no cash for a laptop or PC. Anyways I got an 11 month old PC off my uncle as he ain't much of a PC user and wasn't using it anymore so I swapped him a solid state fender 2x12 for it, he was blown away by the clean channel of the ss amp which incidentally is really nice. I get the PC, I set it up, and its totally infested with viruses, nothing responds to commands etc! Needs reformatting and since I don't know shit about that kinda thing it cost me AU$165 for some geek to wipe it clean and start fresh.

Anyways, now I got a virus free PC which kicks ass over the sluggish laptop I had and I'm happy again.

Moral:virus writers should fuck off and die!
I so dislike the modern digital world that I need to use semi-digital effects to emulate the analog world of cassette, VHS, and vinyl.

There is a lot of information missing in this book regarding the 1980's-1990's alternative music scene.

Most notably Husker Du's major influence on the punk rock scene and all artists recording under the SST label (MAINLY Sonic Youth who seem to get all the credit in this book) and The Pixies influence on Nirvana (Cobaine himself admitted that "Smells like Teen Spirit" was an attempt to emulate the Pixies "Loud, Quiet, Loud" writing style in an interview with Rolling Stone Magazine) and the 1990's alternative scene.
"Ever wondered how some of your favourite guitar players got their tone? Me too. Probably a good amp and lots of practice." Little Lord Electronics Homepage
