I recently just came into some 50's era electronics textbooks that had some great information on older component construction, as well as some neat information on tagboarding. I'd be more than happy to scan these and get them up here for you, but I didn't know how much interest there'd be. I've read all the Mims stuff and there's alot of good viewpoints and concepts that I don't see in later electronics textbooks.

Either way, live long and prosper.

Do it! There's always enough room in our library for more info.

Thanks for your effort!

SCAN IT...PLEASE !!!!!!!!!!

Or, perhaps, scan at first the index pages to see what kind of information was printed in that book, but assume that will be interesting to our education reading the whole book anyway.

Cheers,
Jose

Please, by all means scan them, the info in those books are hard to come by these days, it would be really cool to keep the knowledge in those books alive in a digital format.... :D

I'll download it onto my PC the second that it becomes avalible... :thumbsup

Sounds groovy! I'll get it to my friend at the university, and hopefully I'll have it scanned in a jiffy. Thanks for your enthusiasm. I'm gonna try and track down more of this stuff. The thrift stores in this neck of the woods are filled with old textbooks.

Nice man! There's always some information you can get from it, even if it only represent a few percents of the book itself! :horsey:
