Hi barcode - from what I am given to understand, it is a modified version of the Demeter tremulator - do a search it is here somewhere, or check out my Baja Trembulator project in the DIY project section of the forum for an improved variation on the demeter.
If you can take some photos of both sides of the sups trem board, i am sure someone will draw up the schematic
Cheers

It could also be that the Demeter Tremulator is a modified Supa-trem.....it is a modified version of the Demeter tremulator....
This would explain the (unnecessary) amplifier-stage in the Tremulator-LFO-section: Triangle/Square... what the Demeter doesn´t have....
Here some photos of genius Jim Demeter:

No way - why would Demeter copy Mike Fuller - he has far more clues and class than him. Besides, on past form alone, we all know Mike to be an 'appropriator' of other peoples designs - he probably added the useless square wave option like he added the extra gain switch on his Fooldrive or tubescreamer 'appropriation"

Yes, I can make a picture of his "class" with the useless zener-diodes..... (and some other things).bajaman wrote:Demeter .... he has far more clues and class than him.

AG - those zeners are there to act as limiters for the oscillator section - I found them to be uneccessary with my true sine wave oscillator design, and perhaps they are uneccessary in Demeter's design. however maybe they are there in case some fool plugs his pedal into a higher voltage than the intended 9v requirement - perhaps that is why they are thereYes, I can make a picture of his "class" with the useless zener-diodes

When you can tell me what they should do witha higher voltage ?bajaman wrote:AG - those zeners are there to act as limiters for the oscillator section - I found them to be uneccessary with my true sine wave oscillator design, and perhaps they are uneccessary in Demeter's design. however maybe they are there in case some fool plugs his pedal into a higher voltage than the intended 9v requirement - perhaps that is why they are thereYes, I can make a picture of his "class" with the useless zener-diodes

If you operate the unit normal, you will have triangle, If an idiot plugs it into higher voltage you will get sine-wave ?
sorry, where the zener-diodes are is only a square-wave.... the triangle is on the output of the following op-amp. There can never occur a sine-wave....
But now let´s assume we wil get a sine-wav.... from a level of 5Vss or above....
This is now amplified by 20.... which means 100Vss at the output of the LED-Driver.... or you clip at the supply-voltage limits which leads to a square-wave....
So.... what the diodes should do ?
If you really want to round the triangle towards a sine have a look at the output of the LFO from the cx-3 leslie-sim.

Amazing! This thing of putting faces to names always surprises me!analogguru wrote:Zvex (on the left) also has a friendly smile and nice wink:

Not in a million years I would have guessed from a set of pictures that Z looked like that. I always imagined he as a long-haired rocker, rather than a formal guy.

I wouldn't use the term "formal guy" to describe zakci.estragon wrote:Amazing! This thing of putting faces to names always surprises me!analogguru wrote:Zvex (on the left) also has a friendly smile and nice wink:

Are you talking about this ?:
Fulltone Supa-Trem
Fulltone Supa-Trem inside
Compare it with the Demeter Tremulator (and the schematic).

cool, along with the pics below, we should be able to come up with the exact schematic, and thus the exact "differences" between this and the demeter. anyone fancy a crack at the schem?analogguru wrote:Are you talking about this ?:

ps - i have a board copy etched, and i am happy to distribute to anyone who PMs me, but it is technically copyrighted since it is a direct copy, so i will not post.
by the way, the resistor i accidentally hid under the big green cap when i bent it back at the board's edge is a 1M

Really cool.... Now we can do a research: "Who cloned from whom ?"

I thought this thing was suppose to have photocell?
Quote:
Fulltone Supa-Trem
Tremolo Pedal with Photo-cell, Half/Full Speed Footswitch, "Soft" and "Hard" Footswitch, Internal Fine Adjust, and True Bypass
Am I overlooking it or whats the deal?

Ther are only neglectable differences to the Demeter Tremulator... more on trhis later.
A picture of the offboard wiring would be appreciated to finish the schematic.
There is an optocoupler-cell in one corner - the black drop with four wires.
