Ludwig - Phase II
That's R.G.'s deal, since he made them. I emailed him my notes on the build, so I imagine the speed with which he puts them out will depend on whether he keeps the circuit original or decides some workarounds are in order. The build went great, though. The only issues I had were due to errors/omissions in the factory schem, rather than parts variances and whatnot. R.G.'s mentioned designing the obsolete unijunction transistor out of it, though. We also don't have a clear, step-by step tuning process yet, and this thing has nine trimpots.

I know RG won't release it until he is happy that it is a relatively straight forward build. I'm getting pretty antsy about this one though. I might try a vero layout of this using the notes at DIYSB to fix the schem. Not everybody can make PCB of that dimension. I think the pcb would have to be photo etched, i'm not sure it could be done with pnp without a few tries. And a piece of photo sensitive board that size would cost me about 50 or 60 bucks as opposed to 10 bucks for vero. Can you post some pics of your build either here or at DIYSB im interested to see your enclosure and how you did the foot controller.
It'll be a bit before I get to pics/video because I'm moving on Monday. You're right about the etch, photo boards are the way to go. I haven't used vero myself, but I definitely wouldn't try this on it. Too many traces winding around too many different places. The PCB fits nicely in a 1590D. It might be possible to get it into a 1590DD, but I have my doubts, as the number of switches and jacks is hard to work around, not to mention all the wiring. For the treadle I bought a crappy Rogue wah used for $10. Note that this project requires a stereo jack/cable for the treadle. If you can wait a week, I should be able to post some stuff.
Mouser has photo boards much cheaper than what you said:

Also, Steve at Small Bear is getting some in that are large enough for this project, but he won't have them until September (his guess). For the size he carries, he's cheaper than Mouser, and the board I got from him work better.

Dino, your dog is really cute! My dog does the same head turn-y thing when we listen to Hendrix. All the phasing and panning really trips her out!pinkjimiphoton wrote:you got the ffm animation going!! keppy, you are god lyke!!
