Thanks for reply.
I've already found an error. One of LM308 was halfway broken. At least i've designed new pcb layout and found complete schematics (thanks archive.org) :-)

So summing it up, has anyone successfully built an Expandora (ver.1)?!
Are those schems/layouts verified?!

Yeah, I've finally build Bixonic Expandora. Posted schematic is verified and better than one from RG Keen site. I have to do some final cleanup in layout, so please be patient.

Great pedal, I've got the original and it does sound great.
For wich reason is the RN2206 used?
And isn't R11(1M) too big?

I've just build this pedal.
I used an LDR and an LED instead of using the Sharp opto unit. That was not a very good idea, so I ordered a H11F2 optocoupler. I also discovered that the 2N3703 isn't doing anythng. I assume that it should amplify the signal it gets from IC3?

Does anyone know the difference from the original to the EXP-2001? The 2001 has a drive pot on it.

I have a EXp-2001, and i open it up to see what is inside.
The IC is not a 308, it 's a tlo72
i can put pics here if needed.
I should also receive the schamtics soon.

Wouldn't that be a TL071?

Almost finished with mine. I found a direct cross reference to the Toshiba RN2206 transistor used to sink the current through the opto. The NTE2370 even has the correct internal bias resistors and specs so it should work perfectly. I found Newark and Moyer Electronics stock the part but am still looking to see if Mouser has a direct cross reference in a different brand.
