I've read that both increases headroom but most are from higher voltage supply. what really are the pros and cons between the two? which is better? thanks :thumbsup

depends on the circuit but i have been playing around with amp style circuits in pedal form and found even at higher voltages it seems half the wave is clipped more when i utilize the standard vbias method. but i am trying the same supply but plus and minus and find a more reliable wave form. but i am just scratching the surface of my research here.
