I thought you were trying to say that what they have in their warehouse isn't necessarily visible online, lol. Trying to tell me that they might have the 24mm pcb pots but it doesn't show up online.

I'm sorry bro, last week I get like 4 hours of sleep daily, I can barley speak in ma native language... :)

which one do you mean? LF353, NE570, MN3101, and since i got the FSB board, I'll have to go for an MN3005.

yep pretty much. But I'd have to get/make a daughter board. Not sure about the height issue with a 1590BB.

LaceSensor, btw, what's the value of the resistor on the foot switch of your builds (that inspired me to make a clean build with shielded wire)? Is that because of a volume drop in bypass or did you use a 0 ohm resistor for ease of wiring?

0 ohm resistor. Daughter board can go under the main board and wire to the ic socket

Sorry, meant where did you SOURCE the mn3005 :slap:
Just noticed that banzai carries the cool audio ICs too, nice to have an european source.
Gonna give the dirtbag deluxe a go with v3205s after this build.

don't have a reliable source yet.. :?
I'm looking though. I'll let you know when I find something.

I'm building the Dirtbag as well and recently ordered some MN3205s from utsource on ebay. They are actually cheaper to source for me that way than ordering from Banzai. And I'm still confident those might not exhibit problems in the Dirtbag.

I wouldnt bother making a Dirtbag with v3205
far too many troubleshooting threads for it to just be coincidence.
Use 3008s if not and suck up the 300ms delay time

On the other hand, there is a reliable source of mn3005 on ebay, but they are $45 each.
I didnt mind paying the price hwoever.

Just got some from polida electrical limited on eBay.
Along with some mn3007s 3101s and lots of other ICs.
Looks legit, and for 14.99$ it's a steal IF they are legit.
Will post report later.

I got some 8038s for the vibutron from polida recently that were DOA, saw the 3005s too and was going to order one since they're so cheap but was a little wary after the other dead chips. Would be cool if they were fine though, guy seems pretty good otherwise.

I would love to, but I can't open any of those original files! I used either Express PCB or P2P, can't remember which, and that was 2 computers ago so I don't have or use that software anymore. Back then I made a bazillion copies of everything, and had backups of backups, so without being able to open the files, I have no idea which one is correct.
Ever since I made the ground errors on the AP boards, I switched to Eagle and haven't looked back. Never did redraw the AP into Eagle, though. I figured the AquaBoy from mb would have been the natural progression/replacement, especially within the context of this forum.
Dimensions of the original blue boards was 81mm x 98mm.

Pancho - I've got a stash of original red boards - as well as a few double delay boards.

PM me if you're interested.

Looking to help preserve some of the hard work on this thread.
A) Does anyone have one of the Aqua Puss v1 PCBs?
B) Does anyone have the PCB layout file?

I know that MadBean pedals sells there clone, but I'm looking into retrofitting v2 enclosures using v1 PCBs and potentially doing another run of PCBs for the community. If all else fails, I'll learn how to do create a new PCB layout file but ideally I would love to have a PCB for tracing/verification.

Thanks in advance.
