apollomusicservice wrote:Why on Board index in topic "Stompbox Builder's FAQs & How To's" ,
everytime when you click on "last post" at right side, open topic is
"About to begin my first vero project, few Q's"?
Because the FAQ section has multiple sub-forums and then a main forum.
It's taking you to the last post in the main forum.

Ok , I think it will be more useful to taking to you to last post,
no matter where the last post was in main forum or sub-forum.
It is not logical that the link take you to different place than what is written on the "last post".:hmmm:

Ok, fair enough, I will look into this problem when I have the time. Just wanted to say that the idea was never to have any posts in the main forum (at the level of the subcategories), just in the subcategories. Moreover, the section wasn't even intended for posting, but for archiving worthwhile reads.

At one point people started posting there questions there, because that is the only place you can start a new thread.

thanks for letting us know.

You can't manage displayed forums while using the 'subsilver2' board style. Clicking on the link gives a general error:
template->_tpl_load_file(): File ./styles/subsilver2/template/ucp_prefs_index.html does not exist or is empty
There is no error while using the default board style.

I've been having problems clicking to files linked to some projects. I get either a 403-Forbidden or a 404-Not Found error. All these files are listed at freestompboxes.org, they are not off-site links.

Example:
members/bajaman/Baja/Baja%20Sagittarian ... switch.png
members/soulsonic/schematic/KlonCentaur-5-24-08b.gif
give 403 errors

members/bajaman/Baja/BAJA%20Triode%20Em ... ost%20Plus
gives a 404 error

I'm getting repeated connection problems with your server. There are frequent periods of several minutes where it appears to have dropped off line, and trying a different routing (via an overseas proxy) gives the same results. Is the hosting a bit flaky?

Same here, I was thinking that it is a UK routing problem, especially local to me as my connection in general has never been worse than it is now but I have had the same problem with Ebay for a couple of days.

Sites hosted in the USA seem to be no problem except when my flaky broadband connection is on a go slow, then nothing works reliably.

(I don't know enough about routing via other proxies to try it.)

Ha ha - since the whole internet relies on Linux for switching and routing, and every website (except a couple of Microsoft's own) uses Linux, it's probably just down to some Windows machines that are running a DOS attack on some co-hosted server!

I don't quite know what those meatballs did, they conferred with AT&T themselves and reported back to me: "You're site is blocked (sic!) now."
I'll check again with them tomorrow for a somewhat decent report on this matter

It really looks like Binero.se is really suffering with malicious attacks - there are DDOS attacks happening daily. Have they pissed off the Scientologists?

Threads in
"Board index ‹ Stompbox Building ‹ Build-Your-Own-Boutique-Pedal ‹ Project Debugging"
are not appearing in the "Active Topics" search. I noticed this today after replying to this post in link

Here's a link to my debug thread. Any help is appreciated.

The keep me logged in box works fine, but it will depend on the cookie and security settings you have with your browser. If you have it set up so all cookies are deleted on exiting the browser then you'll have to log in every time. It could also be affected by any security addons or extensions you're running.
