A 2-band bass preamp with good bass frequencies for this era.

This one wasn't on my "to do" list but I had enough info to put something together.

From what I can work out the Vcc/2 biasing is like this.

Any comments or corrections welcomed.

Has anyone built/verified this circuit?

It's a common circuit so there's little reason to doubt it.
I have simulated that circuit and the frequency response is extremely close to the manufacture's graphs.

Hi,
I built this preamp and I love his sound.
Do you have more information about his origin?

It's the Nordstrand 2-band preamp.
The 3-band is also on this forum but under a different section.
Nord translates to North ; change to South
Strand translates to Beach.
