Sorry for my late reply.. life got in the way :D

A couple of observations:
  • 1. Boost should be after the main effect not before.
    2. The IN of the boost goes to a 1M resistor to ground (pulldown resistor) and the 100n capacitor
    3. There are some electrolytes in your schematic that are missing polarisation annotation (eg. the 33uF and 47uF caps have no +/- indication)
    4. J1 is optional to connect pin 1 and 8 in case you will be using a 7660s. It can be omitted when using a LT1054.

Yes, they control only the 3pdt relays and have nothing to do with the effect it self. It is a way to use soft touch switched to control the relays. The effect itself is 100% analog.

I have modified the drawing except for the boost circuit.
Boost should be after the main effect not before.
Where should the boost circuit be insert?

On which point in the ciruit the input signal is feeded in?
On which point in the ciruit ends the main effect part?

There is a 1uF coupling capacitor, is that an electrolyte or foil type?

?? You drew the schematic and marked the boost yourself didn't you? Just take the boost part incl switches and put it after your current output.

Looks like a foil capacitor. Use any (MKT/WIMA/SMF)

Probably the 53R resistor in the box of rock part, is a 47R; I've looked deeply at Saruman's pic, and that resistor seems to be yellow-purple-black -> 47R

Hi, please, verify the Mosfet Structur schematic. I think that something is wrong.
The left mosfet is short circuited.
And about the 47nF that is in parallel with the struct "diodes" ? I don't see him in the first schematic posted here.
For the LT1054 Inverter, the pin 3 need to be grounded. Can you confirm?
The 100uF from LT1054 is inverted.

Yes pin 3 should be grounded and yes, the polarity of the 100 u on the -9V is inverted.

Looking at the trace again I think the schematic of the "stucture" part is wrong as Thimotti might also have implied.
If you look here:

Structure switching
You see that first off it is a DP3T (on-on-on) and not a SP3T (on-off-on). In the left position it would use both the 1n270 and 2n7000, in the center position the 1n270 combined with the LED's would be used and in position 3 only the LED's are used. You can see in the picture showing the sides of the switches that I'm right about the on-on-on part.

Structure capacitor
I also see that there is a small cap C1 in series with pin 2 of the "structure" switch. It looks like this is the mentioned 47n. If so, I made a wrong comment in the post above. I do not see the mentioned 47n go to ground so I think that it might be a mistake in the schematic. Anyone able to confirm? Can anyone also confirm the actual value of 47n?

Looking at the first schematic of saruman on page 1 I see that it is drawn correct there, but saruman changed it in his next drawing to match the COT50 I guess.

There are three types of ON-ON-ON miniature switches, these differ in the switching scheme.

I have examined which switching scheme could work and found that only the switch type 3 met the requirements.

Only sauruman can say which type of switch it truly is. The most common type of on-on-on switch is the switch you marked as 3. Type 1 i've never used/seen and type 2 is the same as type 3 just reverse, so you can make the same settings with that one as with type 3, just mirror the pins.

Edit: I also depends on if you are looking at the pins from above or below :D I alway have the same problem with transistors and datasheets :evil:

Only sauruman can say which type of switch it truly is.
Have a closer look at my explanations regarding the diode threshold voltages, using the type 3 switch is the only reasonable solution.
type 2 is the same as type 3 just reverse
You are right, but some switches have a nut in the thread to fix the mounting position.

Why do you have an arrow going to the right of the switch? The cap is in series with pin 2 and not in parallel.

Edit 1: I see you did not insert the 47n in series... my bad, maybe add it?
Edit 2: agree that the option 3 switch would be the most logical one.
Edit 3: hmmm quite a waste of other good asymmetrical instead of symmetrical clipping options btw. would be nice to combine the GE with LED, GE with mosfet or mosfet with led.
