Caline CP-16 Mark 4 [schematic]
Hello Everyone!
I got the Caline Mark 4 today and has started to trace this pedal.
After when it's finished, I will post the schematic here.

Hello Everyone!
Here comes the schematic of the Caline Mark 4 Distortion.
I have tested this schematic on a breadboard and compare it to the real pedal and both sounds almost the same.
I have also tried some different IC's, OPA 2134, OPA 2604, RC 4558P, JRC 4580, NE 5532 and LM 833.
All of them sounds good with a little different in gain.
The best reult I got with the JRC 4558D (original) and the OPA 2604 (this sounds a little bit more HiFi).
Enjoy!

Hello Everyone!
I have discovered that this pedal is a gem, because if I put this pedal before my homemade Mesa Bbogie Mark IV pedal (I built this about 4 years ago), then the pedal gives a good crunch in the Mark V pedal.
The Caline Mark 4 is a very simple circuit, but it sounds very good.
You can search for the schematics for Mesa Boogie Mark IV on the web, built this and put the Caline Mark 4 before it, then you got a good pedal.

I have found a error in the schematic.
The diode labled D5 that is in the power line, should be labled D6 and it's a 1N4007.

I inserted the passive compont identifier according to the assembly print into the drawing
and corrected the LED identifier.
and corrected the LED identifier.

I I am thinking about to adding a simple tone control, and found that the value of the R12 resistor is to low.
I measured the value and read about 50 KOhms in parallel with VR3 on the right stop.
The Value is 100 kOhms not 10 KOhms.

The pedal sounds great, but it could be more versatile with (at least) a little more control over the high frequencies. What about adding the tone and presence control of the Crunch Box V2 or maybe even the TMB tonestack of the Guv'nor/Drivemaster, maybe modified to the values of the tonestack in the real Boogie Mk4?

I made this pedal, using a vero board I created. The first gain stage works, but when I start to turn the gain 2 pot up, I get some weird noise. Just a little turn of the gain 2 pot I can start to hear a difference in the gain get dirtier, but once I start to turn the gain 2 pot more I get a loud shrieking sound. As I turn the gain 2 pot more clockwise it turns into wired noise, seems to get lower in frequency and reminds me of video game noise. Here are the voltage readings of the IC pins:
1 = 4.43
2 = 4.43
3 = 3.99
4 = 0
5 = 4.37
6 = 4.43
7 = 4.43
8 = 8.86
Voltage reading at source is 9.48 vdc. Any thought on why I am getting this weird noise on gain stage 2?
Thanks
Rob

Greetings everyone:
I would like some help on the assembly of this Caline mark4 pedal, I downloaded the electronic schematics I copied on the eagle I looked at it 30 times, and today I made the plate but the sound only came out, it did not make the distortion effect, I am posting the original link of where I downloaded and a pdf with my copy and the board I made. If you can help me I appreciate it.

You forgot the 220nF capacitor, without it the signal is attenuatedpaulo shure wrote: ↑11 Sep 2020, 01:20 Greetings everyone:

Caline is actually about to release a new version of the Mark 4 pedal this month with a built in 6 band EQ called the “Easy Driver”. I have the regular Mark 4 and it’s great as is so adding the EQ should make it even better. I use the Mark 4 pedal thru a very bright and clean Silverface Fender Bassman 135, but I can see how some might find it dark thru certain amps.
