Next year I'm planning on building a marshall 18w-like tube amp. I got everything but the chassis and transformers. Since I have plenty of time before I'll start to build the amp, I've thought about winding the transformers myself. Any good books or guides on power and output transformer designing and winding?

That's a nice paper! The maths are easy to follow, and coincidentally I have a spare tube that can be used in a single ended 3,5W amp. Different primary impedance, but I can follow the paper to calculate my own transformer. Now I need to find something on push pull output transformer.

In this paper, the transformer for a single-end output stage is not fully calculated. Power, non-magnetic gap is not calculated at all.
I have several books and articles, but they are in Russian.
