Adding an LED to a cry baby mini wah

Postby MichelleTaylor » 11 Sep 2018, 14:36

Hi everyone!
A new member here and I have hust done a search for the answer to my question but didnt find anything.
I am looking for a wiring diagram of how to add a small LED to a new cry baby mini wah so that I can see when it is engaged.
I know nothing of schematics/wiring so will pass on this info to the person that will actually do the job for me :).
Thanks in advance for any help.

You must first give the circuit diagram to be added. It is not very difficult for LEDs to be added to the circuit, but it is the most important thing to achieve.

Here's an example on how to do it:

For R1, you can use something like 4K7. If you rise up the value, the led will glow dimmer. I personally always use 4K7, for colored lens leds and for super bright leds.

Don't know if you found out already or had the same issue but a typical 3PDT switch hits the linear gear.
