small clone chorus
I ordered the tonepad pcb's for this and now in the process of ordering the remaining parts. Can anyone recommend a capacitor type that is commonly used here? I see a lot of folks using the square box types but I haven't been able to locate those. They may not even be a good fit for this particular build.
Also, is it worth paying the high price for a NOS MN3007 chip or will the new production cheap ones work just as well?
Thanks
Rut

Information
There are no new production MN3007's. Only original NOS ones and chinese counterfeits (that don't work)

The NTE1641 from Mouser works fine at $10.

Well, I purchased 2 supposedly NOS Panansonic MN3007's off of ebay. Hopefully they are genuine

So do I.
My advice for anyone buying chips like these on the bay,
Verify them before leaving feedback.
In a recent case I bought 10 counterfeits. When contacting 3 other buyers (from the same seller) who left a positive thay had all not tried the chips yet...

If I could... I'd let anyone know ASAP.
