Hey all!

I got this baby in because the footswitch was broken (Taiwan X wing) so I had some time to peek under the hood / trace the unit.

Pictures will be made later when my batteries are charged!

Beware, with such a double-zero number, this pedal has a licence to funk ...

It is a really sweet pedal! A tad HiFi-ish but less HiFi compared to the discobombulator of Emma. I like it but I like my old Mutron even more!

That's a great pedal... not just for bass either, it works great for guitar, although I have the earlier model. Mine sounds just as good as the Lovetone Meatball I used to have and it's a lot easier to dial in.

I compared the pedal to an ibanez mutron clone and while the ibanez had that mutron sound down, the 00funk was greasier sounding and more moog sounding...wich I really dug.

I wonder if the funky mode filter from freq. central sounds pretty much the same..I'm building 2 right now. :)

I would love a pcb...

I get to reformat tonight as I lost a drive and have to reinstall so much padiddlywink...

So if anybody wants to take pity on me, or make a charitable donation, you could just make a pcb layout of this pedal for yours truly, and the forum. :D

Of course, if you want, you can always send your dollars to : Hey, I need the fuckin money

Hi,

- There´s a new version, "Agent 00Funk Mk2". Does anybody know what has changed?

- A layout would be really great!!!

- Has anybody tried that pedal with a guitar?

regards, Sue

What is this funky mode filter of which you speak? Search yields no results.

Redrawing this in eagle and will do a pcb as soon as I am done.

Question about pinouts and connections on the LM13700 since the eagle version differs from the schematic version.

I dont see pins 2 and 15 and then 1 and 5 and 16 and 12. What are these connected to in the schematic?

Thanks! :)

From comparing the copper side to the schematic to the 13700 data, it seems that:
- 1 and 16 are connected together via the "TO A" section as the bias
-12 and 5 are the outputs of their respective op amps
-2 and 15 are unconnected

hope this helps

Interesting..

Im new to doing full on designs in eagle with V+ and Vref's.

All the ic's tell me this error : OUTPUT and SUPPLY pins mixed on net VR.

But..in the schematic this is how they are shown. SO I think its me I just want to make sure.

Oh, and pins 4 and 11 of the LM 324. + and - 9volts or Vref?

LM 13700:
1 + 16 are for the control current of the OTA´s
2 + 15 unused (linearization diodes)
3 / 14 non inverting inputs
4 / 13 inverting inputs
5 + 7 connected together to one of the 10n caps
12 + 10 connected together to the other 10n cap
6 connected to ground
11 connected to V+
8 is one buffer out connected to 3k3
9 is the other buffer out connected to the other 3k3

LM 324:
Pin 4 is connected to V+
Pin 11 is connected to Gnd
