I was able to open it, but it required installing a Korean font package into Acrobat Reader.

Hello everyone,

I have read all sorts about this pedal. The main part that baffles me is in there write up they claim to have used the Analog Devices SSM2000 IC Thats as far as i understand where the HUSH bit came from. But according to the schematic that's here theres a SA572 compander there :hmmm: Would be curious to see what the go is. I would love to get hold of a couple of those chips but i won't pay that little diode the amount of money they want on ebay for rare chips. They must have gone around and got all rare chips and now they have them on there for a fortune. They know people get desperate for particular chips and will pay it. That really annoys me! Has no one ever modded a Rocktron Hush? I can't find any info on the subject. If anyone knows of any mods for this pedal I would appreciate being in the know.

I share your feeling that this schematic looks a bit puzzling, or drawn unintuitively, or potentially wrong on some spots.
But good to have it, thanks!

I've redrawn the hush schematic in a way that it could be more understandable.

I plan to create a clone of it as soon I can route it and make a professional PCB.

In the redrawn schematics, it became easier to understand what each part does. As I understood, The LM13600 is responsible for the VCF circuit. The SA572 creates a controllable downward expander, and some operational amplifier creates a rectifier to control the VCF.

I am submitting the schematics here in case if anyone wants to study it or create a clone. I can send the original Kicad schematics if anyone wants.
