+1

But if I remember correctly (like I said, no need for TS here, I love my 30$-Rat ...), the only difference between BB/AC/RC is the number of diodes.

Some month´s ago I saved some pictures but couldn´t really say what they are. So I stored them under "Fulltone". After reading this thread:
https://www.freestompboxes.org/viewtopic.php?t=137
and this thread:
https://www.freestompboxes.org/viewtopic.php?t=134
I rechecked the pictures and compared them to the pictures in the link above, and it seems that the picture are the guts of the:
Xotic BB preamp (gooped)

Xotic BB preamp (un-gooped)

this appears to be the corresponding BB Preamp schematic

I have those ones(gooped/un-gooped) saved here as the VOODOLABS SPARKLE DRIVE... :?

If you look at the:
blown up Xotic BB-Preamp guts
you can recognize the same track-routing, the cables to the switch in the middle bottom, cables to the pots on the upper side, the 2 electrolytics at the left, the placement of the IC´s.....

You can get nearly the same sound and overtones out of any TS if you you drop the voltage to app. 8V.

To me the BB sounds to compressed, even more than a TS or SD.

The schem was drawn by Kusi, who altered it a bit (he dropped an IC stage, and altered the gain control to a single pot).

Is there a PCB layout for this also?

Did the schematic author also (k***) change some values in the (baxandall) tone stack?

Thanks

To annoy you some more. With the given tone stack values there are plenty of boost and cut (ca 20 dB for bass and may be less...16 dB on treble) but the action (as I recognize it...however I may be wrong) are choosen for both very low frequencys and very high. In other words, the EQ looks almost taken from a circuit for hi-fi rather than something optimal for guitar. It just made me wonder if the values were the same as in the original. But I have not tried a real BB and it may work very nice IRL. Perhaps the BB is intended for Bass guitar also?

I've been trying like hell to figure out what I could contribute here and remembered this from DIYstompboxes:
https://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/ ... ic=55014.0

Here's the schematic:

LA Boutique Screamer JPG schematic

I created an image file from the original pdf. Hope it works out!!
