Danelectro - Dan-Echo: adding modulation to PT2395 delay

The Reel echo uses some kind of computer like chips to create its delay. And when you adjust the delay time on the reel echo, you get a stutter effect rather than pitch bending, so modulation of this sort isn't possible on a reel echo.Kev77 wrote:anyone tried anything like this on a reel echo for danelectro?

Anyone has a schematic of this unit???

Thanks for putting this layout together. I tried to add it to a DIY neptune delay board, but the LFO is not working - the LED lights up but is not oscillating. I heard decreasing the value of R2 and increasing the value of C2 may help? What do changing these two components do? Any other tips? I tried both a Silonex NSL-32 as well as a KE-10720 LDR tied to a red LED and still doesn't work. Lights up, but doesn't oscillate.
