They're advertising for the complete series (at the time). It doesn't mean that they really used one of them...
Post links to videos and tells us which sound exactly you're trying to replicate.
But the point is: If you want to get it 100% right, you need the same amp, speakers, guitar, microphone etc ... and the same fingers.
If some parts of your signal chain are different, you might get better results if you use a different fuzz pedal. For example, the single most important part in a signal chain might be the speaker - and 99% of the people who want to sound like heroe X don't take that into account. If your amp sound has a bit more scooped mids, than Orgy's amp, you might need a fuzz that sounds a little fatter to compensate that...
I find it more helpful to describe the sound you want with non-technical terms: cold/warm, organic/sterile ... Describe what it does to a song, how it affects the mood of the audience. And then find out how you can create that feeling with whatever equipment you own. In the end, nobody cares, if you used the same pedal as hero x, not even if you play in a cover band.
